Covet Tuesday: Japanese Washi Tape

I'm sure I could buy limitless supplies of this gorgeous Japanese Washi Tape given half a chance - all thats stopping me is trying to decide what to do with it all - I'm torn between tarting up wooden clothes pegs and old Bonne Maman glass jars!

Visiting: Bath

We've been planning to visit Bath for ages now and the week we spent there did not disappoint as you can see! We spent one morning swimming and steaming in the Thermae Bath Spa - I would recommend an early visit - its so lovely to be floating away on the rooftop (not much swimming was done!) when the pool is quiet.
We also spent a few hours at The Roman Baths which were amazing - and had hot crumpets  and tea in The Pump Room. I cannot imagine what this place is like in Summer but it was nice to do everything 'tourist-y' for a change!
Much time was spent around the Royal Crescent and other architectural lovelies due to general love of all things Georgian! We were staying right by Pulteney Bridge and lots of time was spent in and around Bath's fantastic shops - just a few favourites here - yes you've spotted Cath Kidston is amongst them!

Covet Tuesday: House & Home by Lisa Stickley

Whats not to love about the new Lisa Stickley House & Home collection for Debenhams? Flowers, Birds, Houses, Cake Stands! Saw this for sale in the Cork Debenhams yesterday and am in love with this range - most especially covet the biscuit tin!

Covet Tuesday: Cambridge Satchel

I'm sure I'm not alone in my love of satchels and these are particularly lovely! I love these bright colours - not sure which is my favourite but I'm leaning towards the yellow! I've spied satchels in shops such as Urban Outfitters and Toast this Autumn. These come in four different sizes and can be embossed with your own initials! Wander over to The Cambridge Satchel Company for more terrific satchels, batchels, and trunks!

Visiting: JFK Arboretum, Tintern Abbey

We've been meaning to visit JFK Arboretum for a while now so this Summer we thought we'd make the trip to Wexford! Our picnic had to decamp to the car due to wasps but otherwise we had a very pleasant stroll around the grounds - I think bikes could have been useful though to appreciate the full scale of the place! So we decided to tack on a visit to Tintern Abbey on the same day - as you can see its another great OPW site - can you believe people lived here until 1959! I was especially taken with the Grotesque Heads on the Chancel Corbel Table.

Button Earrings

I've listed some of these button earrings in my Etsy shop and hope to make some more soon - I'm planning some more button-y projects - maybe some magnets or some cover-button earrings! I mentioned having a giveaway recently and will be including some of these earrings in the booty so stay tuned for information on how to enter!

Cork's Twentieth Century Buildings

Last weekend we went on a walking tour of Cork's Twentieth Century Buildings as part of Cork Heritage Week! Some I had noticed before and some not - one of my favourties is O' Connor's Shoes in the middle of the collage.

Liberty Button Haul

Oh how I heart these buttons! Liberty has such a fantastic range to choose from! I have plans to fashion these into earrings soon so they should be popping up in my Etsy shop when I return from my holidays in Bath next week! *Just remembered to include these photographs I took on my phone whilst wandering around Liberty - look at those quilts!
