I saw this Emma Bridgewater spotted AGA in the Sunday Newspapers and was instantly in love! This polka dot AGA has been designed to mark the 300th anniversary of the AGA Coalbrookdale foundry. We had an AGA at home when I was in my teens and I really think you need a big kitchen to do such a great piece of design justice. Having said that, I mostly remember using the AGA to make tea and toast - oh and to dry jeans over for University!

Telltale Cath Kidston packaging! I received this lovely gift over the weekend from a friend who recently visited London - was very jealous of her Liberty/Marylebone/John Lewis Haberdashery adventures! I invested in some Spring potting plants at Griffins Garden Centre - and managed to sneak these great baskets into the shopping basket too - well it was Valentine's weekend! Louis has decided he fits into the heart shaped basket so it is his for the moment!

Kinsale is always a great place to spend the day and my last jaunt with my friend did not fail to deliver! We had lunch at the lovely Cucina (great crab salad!) and then spent a long time browsing in Paperworks - they stock fantastic stationery & lines such as Bombay Duck and East of India. We called into the Pavilion for a look (and admittedly, cake) on the way home and I bought some lovely things in their sale. I'm off for a few weeks but should be able to check in with everyone regularly so farewell for now!

Having seen a documentary about textile designer Celia Birtwell recently, she popped into my world again over the weekend in the form of a very covetable printed Pretty Woman Flask on sale at the Pavilion. Not really being able to justify the flask purchase however, I snapped up this (Christmas stock) purse and fob set for a measly 1euro at Boots yesterday - and so now I own a little Celia of my own!! Check out the 2006 CB collection for Topshop here.
*Celia Birtwell just became a follower on Twitter!! Check out her tweets here.

I received a request for a custom order via Etsy over the weekend and shipped the finished products today! These are felt squares for a memory quilt and are destined for a new home in the U.S. Both squares signify special memories (of apple pie and a special peanut-eating squirrel) for the customer! Really fun to get a custom order I'm very happy with my new packaging too. These glassine envelopes and butchers twine are perfect for my new pink kawaii buttons!
