Ikea / Cath Goodies

Well I promised photographs of the spoils from our Dublin trip and here they are! I got these fabby CK shoes for a bargain 12euro, the CK fabric below for 9euro a metre and the oilcloth for 12 a metre! All at the CK Outlet at Kildare - would recommend anyone to drop in there if on the way to Dublin. Also some Ikea goodies - see the pink theme - and some lovely doors fabric too. Oh and some new bookshelves so our books can live someplace other than boxes in the kitchen. Also made this Scrabble Box Frame during the week - very happy with the results!

Covet Tuesday: Galison Green Writer's Series

When in Dublin we visited one of my favourite shops the National Gallery Bookshop - they have the most amazing array of stationery and these goodies caught my eye. The Galison Green range is 100% recycled and very covetable - I have my eye on the Little Blue Birds pattern.

Dublin Mood Board

We made it back from our Dublin trip - I left my camera in Cork (but somehow remembered to pack the charger!) so I've made a moodboard of all the places we managed to visit over the weekend. Notice lots of eating was done! Also managed a quick trip to Ikea and Cath Kidston Outlet so stay tuned for goodie reveal later in the week!

Visiting: Cork Port

We recently went for a wander around Cork Port - as you can see a really beautiful day - where has that weather gone? This whole area of Cork was up for some fancy urban renewal work until the recession hit so I thought I would take some photographs just in case any of these buildings that have been here for so long somehow disappear overnight - I think they have their own beauty! We're off to Dublin at the weekend so am very excited - hope to get some lovely cupcakes and do a little shopping.

Car Booting\Crafts

We finally got to a Car Boot Sale and I was not disappointed! You can see my purchases below - great yellow/black Carraigaline Pottery and a glass jelly mould. I was so impressed with the set up (at the Blarney GAA field) that I'm considering selling my iheartcrafts wares there in June as a dry run for some more serious crafts markets!
I'm also very excited about the appearance of Paperchase inside AWear Cork - upstairs is hiding some wonderful stationery - and I was lucky enough to get these great owly presents for my recent birthday. I also got some great Gisela Graham ribbon - oh and the Maisie Moo luggage I dropped so many hints about!! Very lucky.
I'm in the middle of a crafts bonanza at the moment and have about 3 projects on the go simultaneously. I'm very happy with these little yo-yos and Rowan wool pom-poms though!

Covet Tuesday: MiM

Being a lover of all things felt I was intrigued by the MiM slippers provided to visitors to the Casino at Marino when we visited. MiM or Made in Mongolia is available throughout Ireland but I've recently seen their products at Avoca and Blarney Woollen Mills - love the colour combinations!
